A Message from our Founder
Facing new challenges as a single parents and coping with grief from my families divorce, our founding members met in an unlikely way. Although
both of us are very different in many ways, there was one thing in common that led us to dedicate ourselves to The Mamacracy Foundation. After so much agony, it was unbearable to look towards the future without a plan that led to happiness and fulfillment. All the plans and goals before divorce were unobtainable and a new plan needed to be made. I asked muyself, but what makes me happy? Helping others fulfills me greatly and brings me so much joy, so I began researching Charitable Organizations and how they operate.
I read only a crazy person who attempt to establish a non-profit without any legal help or capital, and confirming to myself that I am totally crazy, I decided to open a charity with no help or capital. I share this self discovery when I talk about Mamacracy and my vision and it was not long before my friends would admit they also find immense joy within when they help others. It is not about being thanked or recognized and it's not because we expect something in return, but feeling good from within when you give a little something back to universe that gives us so much.
I know that when I give someone a tiny bit of gas money or food, they will have a better day. In hand, the people around them will have a better day as well, and the trickle down is unbelieivably real, I built The Mamacracy Foundation on that philosophy, "Small acts of kindness will change the world in huge way."
